New Google Tools That Can Improve Inter-Company Communications

Google has introduced a newfangled array of apps that encourage people to work together and increase their productivity.

Because of its way of doing things, Google has become one of the
most wanted companies to work for. Since the majority of workers have a computer and the majority of companies have dedicated internet access using apps should be something you are also giving your employees access to. Let's take a look at how you can learn from the Google environment in order to get the best out of your employees.

Google Apps for Business
There are many
Google-designed apps out there (and apps that work WITH Google apps, for that matter) that encourage collaboration and productivity. The main ones are Google Docs (this covers documents, spreadsheets and presentations), Google Sites, Google Groups and Google Video. All of the above allow for easy communication and transparent working scenarios; for instance, with Google Docs multiple people can edit simultaneously, in real time. No need to send files back and forth; everything is saved online in a variety of available file formats. Access is easily managed and controlled.

Google Sites allows you to build any kind of website which is readily available to embed rich content and provide easy access to information for your employees.

Want to have an informal discussion about your projects? Why not try Google Groups, where all it takes is a few clicks of a button to create an online community, for information sharing or just keeping people in the loop. It's easy to manage your groups and share content such as documents, sites, or video.

And speaking of video, Google Video is another great route to communicate in a more 'real' way. This can come in the form of training videos or general business communications, all securely saved and streamed by Google - no large files or specialized software to worry about. The videos can be embedded, and you can even get feedback if you want it.

Google Hangouts
If video's not enough, why not try 'Hangouts'? Since Google introduced 'Hangouts', it's been seen as an unmitigated success - sort of like the silver lining to Google+'s uncertainty cloud. More recently, Google has broadened Hangouts further to go way beyond video chat, providing everything we need to readily communicate and collaborate in real time. Because of this, it's becoming increasingly popular in the workplace and in educational environments, and is highly adaptive for online learning, as well as for casual chat.

Other workspaces
Of course, there's more to the Google Environment than just apps. If you're looking for inspiration to help make your workspace a more productive and collaborative environment, why not take a look at some of the other
most collaborative workspaces out there? You could take a leaf out of Skype's book, Microsoft, Pensar or Mono. And of course, there's always Facebook to fall back on.

So, there you have it. We hope you leave this page feeling energized and a-buzz with fresh ideas and inspiration that you can pass onto your employees for that all-important collaborative business environment that's proved so beneficial for many of the big guns out there. Whether you want to follow Google's example, or take a look at some of the other collaborative apps and companies out there, remember to have fun and do what works best for your business - whatever that may be.

Metro Manila Is Safe For Kidnappers But Not In Davao

Kidnapping is rampant in Metro Manila,Philippines. The kidnappers favorite victims are the Filipino Chinese, known for their millions, who can afford to pay for the ransom money.  Recently, a Filipino-Chinese businesswoman was abducted inside her office in Metro Manila. Her relatives had immediately called the authorities for help but failed to rescue the kidnap victim. Sally Chua was easily transported from Metro Manila to Mindanao. She and the kidnappers traveled successfully by land, sea and air. After 6 days of being held up, she was rescued from the hands of 15 kidnappers while about to withdraw P15 million as her ransom in Davao City. Davao City Police killed 3 of the kidnappers and arrested one of them.

It was traumatic for the victims knowing that authorities was already right in front of you many times but failed to do their job correctly. During a press conference, Chua said in a press conference that the police officers in Metro Manila did not take action to intercept the kidnappers. “The first day, I was mad. We were trapped in traffic on EDSA but no policemen made the effort to intercept. If they conducted pursuit operations, they could have caught up with the kidnappers. We traveled on EDSA for almost an hour,” she said. “There were checkpoints but our vehicles were not checked. If the police checked on the vehicles, they could have seen the M-16 baby Armalite rifle and other short firearms,” she added. The police checkpoints set up along Osmeña Highway were ineffective, according to the victim.

It is sad to hear that when it comes to rescuing the victims, we can't count on the authorities in Metro Manila. All the check points are useless. It is either they are incapable for the job or are too scared to check all the cars so they just let them get away easily. But don't generalized the  poor performance of the law enforcer, Philippines has Davao City, were criminals are not welcome. Mayor Rodrigo Duterte made it clear  that Davao City is not a safe place for criminals, “It is either you leave Davao City horizontally or vertically. It is your choice. Just do not f*** here in my city,”. Davao has zero tolerance to criminals , they eliminate them in the face in their city. But the Commission on Human Rights under the leadership of Etta Rosales was not happy when the Davao police killed those kidnappers. Malacanang even reminded Duterte that a shoot-to-kill order is against the law.

If shoot to kill is illegal, then what the is legal way to kill these criminals? If you were in the shoes of those policemen, will you give them the chance to live? Remember these are heavily armed criminals and do not hesitate to kill if given a chance.

Unique Flavors of Western Mindanao: Satti

When visiting Zamboanga, a traveler’s first tour in the morning is to visit a satti house for breakfast. Satti is the spicy dish popular among locals of Zamboanga. It is the food that perks up your morning. Satti is served with sticky rice uniquely cooked in a wooven coconut leaf to create its square-like shape, and sticks of grilled beef and chicken meat swimming in the thick, spicy and hot sauce. It is the sauce that makes all the difference giving it the special taste. Zamboangueños claim that your Zamboanga trip is never complete without this food. From the wisdom of the old (my dad) who had been eating satti most of his mornings: find a satti house operated by a Chinese because they make tasteful sauce distinct from the rest.

The unique flavor of this food is what makes many Chavacanos (people of Zamboanga) miss their home. Mornings in Zamboanga for many joggers, students and office workers begin at a satti house. It has become the comfort food for many because of its rich texture and spicy flavor that gives a calmingsensation. This is one food that can make your heart a beat faster and sweat glands get to work.

A serving of satti is a complete meal. It’s a great starter for the day.  To make the sauce, several spices are blended altogether: dulaw (turmeric), sambal, curry, lemon grass, native pepper, red cayenne pepper, garlic, cumin, coriander, chili, onions and salt. These ingredients are pounded until texture becomes powdery. To refine and thicken the sauce, cornstarch is added and stirred continuously until you achieve the desired consistency. You can use tomatoes, soy sauce, and peanuts optionally to tame the zesty flavor. We have never tried cooking satti at home; but I wish to share the recipe I found from a Facebook Page by a Zamboangueño:

SATTI de Zamboanga

How to make SAMBAL (Soup). This is for a 7 - 8 quart pot

Ingredients:

1.     -  Siling labuyo (Catumbal)          1/4 cup  ( 1/2 - 1 cup if you want it “hotter”)             or                      Habanero Chilli pepper           8 peppers (12 - 15 if you want fire)
2.     -  Ginger                                     5 thump size
3.     -  Turmeric (azafran)                    4 thump size
4.     -  Onions                                     1 Bulb (fist size)
5.     -  Oregano                                  6 leaves (or 1 teasespoon if power is used)
6.     -  Oil
7.     -  Shrimp paste (Bagon)               ¼ -1/2 tsp
8.     -  Tomato                                    1
9.     -  Flour                                        1/2 cup +
10.   -  Corn Starch                              1/2 cup +
11.   -  Sugar                                       1 1/2 cu
12.   -  Salt                                           1 tbsp
13.   -  Anito Power (Achuete)              15g (2 packs)
14.   -  Knorr Cube (Chicken)               3 - 4 cubes
15.   -  Coconut milk (gata)*                  ¼ cup or les
16.   – Peanut butter                              1 tsp
17.   – Curry Power                               ½ - 1 tsp (optional)
            18.  -- Taro Root (tumon)*                    small size  (about 2 inches in diameter)

            *Procedure:

Step 1: Boil 6 quarts of water. Add the taro root(if you have some). Add ingredients 14, 15, and 17. When boiling, stir,

Step 2: Mince and Blend ingredients 1 to 5 (add small amount of water just enough to start the blend)

Step 3: Mix ingredients 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. Add 1 cup( or more) of water, stir until free                          of lumps.

Step 4: Sauté (Gisa) shrimp paste and tomato with oil then add the mixed ingredients 1 to 5 (Sauté until partly dried)

Step 5: Pour the sauté into the boiling water, stir, then add coconut milk(optional). Add the mix from step 3. add water to reach desired thickness.

Keep in medium flame for 15 - 30 minutes (or more) with frequent stirring to avoid "stickings" on the pot. Add water to lessen the thickness of the soup – if you prefer it that way.

Cool down for 2 minutes then serve. Enjoy

You can refrigerate it or freeze for later use. Microwave every bowl for 3-4 minutes. Stir in between heating. Just a tip, stove/fire heating the sambal seems to be better than microwaving. Just dub the pot with oil before pouring the sambal. Stir occasionally while heating.

How to Prepare the Beef or Chicken on sticks :

 - Marinate with calamansi, salt, sugar and achuete
             - Brush with coconut milk (optional)

PUSO’: The Rice (since coconut leave is hard to find here in the US, just cook it in a rice cooker with less water - just enough to cook the rice.

The author added a note that the recipe he shared including all measurements were based from his personal preference of taste. I just shared the ingredients and steps to prepare and cook satti ala Zamboangueño style. You can play with the taste by experimenting a little bit with the basic measurements and procedures. I have never tried this recipe at home so for those who will try this, I’d be happy to hear about your feedback.

5 Productivity Tools for Bloggers and Content Writers

$

Blogging is essentially an informal form of writing articles online. Usually, when one decides to start a blog, creating content appears to be easy at first because of the overflowing inspiration and hype. Most of the bloggers I know started out their journey in the blogosphere as a plain hobby - something that they can spend their extra time into and share whatever they like. However, once you take your blogging to the next level and turn it into a professional portfolio or a means to earn money online, it becomes such a tedious task with all the researching involved.

If you are working as a web content writer or a blogger accepting paid posts and reviews, you certainly understand where I'm coming from. Have you ever experienced being assigned with a writing task that you completely know nothing about? I have been blogging for quite some time now and recently got a job as a web content writer. Today I would like to share with you five of my favorite tools that helped me get back a little bit of my time. There are a lot of productivity tools out there but these five I use most often. I hope you will find them helpful to you as much as they did for me.

5 Productivity Tools for Bloggers and Content Writers

1. Toggl Online Time Tracker (https://www.toggl.com/)

Toggle labels themselves as an insanely simple way to track time online. In my experience, they really are and will definitely save you time compared to manually tracking your tasks on time sheets or spreadsheets. You just type in your current task and then start the tracker. If you need to pause from work and have a break, you simply click stop. Once you are back, click continue.

Time tracking is very important especially when you are being paid on an hourly basis. For those who don't, tracking your time is still a valuable information to keep as it helps you identify if you have made any improvements productivity wise.

2. Diigo Social Bookmarking Tool (https://www.diigo.com/)

Diigo is a very powerful tool when doing research online. Aside from being an excellent way to organize your bookmarks, Diigo allows you to annotate (or highlight) important paragraph or paragraphs of virtually any online article. Imagine skimming through a very long Wikipedia article and seconds later you found yourself wanting to go back to a specific part but there is no way to quickly identify it? Diigo's highlighter option is fit for the job.

3. Lightshot Screenshot Tool (http://app.prntscr.com/)

Screenshots are one of the most common things a blogger needs to do especially for those "how to" posts but is also one of the most tedious task. Lighshot is a lightweight and easy to use screenshot tool with lots of additional features such as editing and annotation, upload screenshot to Lightshot server to get quick web link, and finding visually similar images. It is available as a web browser extension or as a stand alone software that perfectly integrates with your keyboard's Print Screen button.

What makes Lightshot stand out from competitor tools is that it allows you to select any area on a desktop. Unlike the conventional screenshot method wherein you have to manually crop the screenshot, this tool enables you to capture only a specific area that you want. You can literally capture, copy and then paste images to a word processor without any editing.

4. IFTTT Automation Tool (https://ifttt.com/)

IFTTT or If This Then That is a service that lets you automate countless tasks in a very simple way. As the name implies, you just select a trigger and then set an action. Save a substantial amount of time by having the internet work for you instead of doing them manually.

5. Evernote (https://evernote.com/) or Google Keep (https://drive.google.com/keep/)

Blog post inspiration can come from anywhere so save your thoughts, ideas, things you like, interesting things you saw, read or hear so you can come back to them later. If you are fond of using post its or scribbling on a notebook, these apps makes powerful alternatives at the same time cost effective.

CDO July 2013 Bombing: Emmanuel Palafox, Company District Manager of Sandoz Among Killed

Pinoy Bomber, Why Do You Hurt Your Countrymen?

Six were killed in a bomb blast incident, Friday evening in Cagayan de Oro City at Kyla’s Bistro, among the line of restaurants in Rosaria Arcade outside Cagayan’s busiest shopping center, LimKetKai Mall. One of the casualties was a civilian, Emmanuel Desierto Palafox, who only came to CDO for the PCCP convention. He is the company district manager at Sandoz, who was partying with his colleagues together with other convention participants, among them were doctors. Sandoz is a pharmaceutical subsidiary distributing generic medicines, the third among the largest division of the global industry leader in the pharmaceutical industry, Novartis. To his colleagues, he was called Manny. That evening, he was seated at the table where the bomb was allegedly placed and killed him on the spot along with two other medical representatives.
Manny is a resident of Zamboanga City, whose wife, Heteluv and two adorable children (both girls), excitedly awaits his return from every travel. Today, he will come home in a casket that brings profound sorrow to his wife, children and the rest of the family. His mother, Fatima Desierto Palafox, whose roots are from Ipil, Zamboanga del Sur, and brother Jerico, grieve from Davao and scheduled to come home for the burial; while his other brother, Atty. Jules Christian Marcos takes care of all the necessary funeral arrangements from home. He was fondly called Tata in the family, who had been one of the world’s most wonderful husband and father.

The bomber used an improvised explosive device that also injured 48 others. There is no tolerance for this violence in a supposedly peaceful community of CDO. From a grieving family, there can be no justification in taking away a father who works hard to put his children in school and bring home food to the table. To his wife, he was the world she knew. He was a good son to his mother who regularly visits on Sundays after attending mass and a loving brother to his siblings and cousins. Emmanuel Desierto Palafox, hasta la vista. Rest in peace with the Lord, kuya Tata.

Zamboanga Update: CDO Blast Victim, Emmanuel Palafox arrived Zamboanga

Zamboanga City -- Last night, CDO blast victim, Emmanuel Desierto Palafox, arrived Zamboanga City in a white casket from CDO. Overflowing with pain and tears, his wife with their elder daughter received his remains and saw him for the first time after the blast. The rest of the family remain in shock. The small chapel where he was brought was crowded with families and friends who feel unimaginable pain for his loss.

He is known to many as Manny, who was in CDO for the PCCP convention. He was one of the three victims who was seated at a table where the bomb was allegedly placed, contained in a bag and killed them on the spot during the blast. Three other victims were also killed that night and two more died at the hospital, Monday. Manny works for the pharmaceutical company, Sandoz as the Company District Manager. Sandoz is the subsidiary of the global pharmaceutical leader Novartis, in the Philippines. To accept his death is very difficult for the family. He was only 35. His wife, Heteluv, is left with their two little girls to care, who are yet in grade school.

To his brothers, Atty. Jules Christian Marcos and Jerico Marcos, his death was "senseless". Manny is the youngest of three boys raised alone by their mother, Fatima. As the family lawyer and spokesperson, Atty. Jules expressed the plans of filing a case against those behind the bombing and also, against the police and the rest of those involved in the clean-up of the crime scene in CDO. Evidence that could have helped strengthen the case once they identify the bomber becomes weak because the place was cleaned-up before the investigation.

Video Credit: GMA Network

An innocent life was lost, and a family bereaved. Atty. Jules says that if the bombing has any political agenda, they should have expressed their grievances in other ways that do not claim lives of innocent people just like Manny who was only there at the call of duty. He works hard to support his family.

The initial schedule of the burial is on Friday, awaiting the arrival of Manny's mother and brother, Jerico from Davao City.

Philippines Mall Theft Syndicate

Mall theft, shoplifters in the Philippines mall has been a long time problem. They always come up with a different techniques once their operation got exposed. The syndicate operates in groups to cover up the designated thief. They are all over the mall looking for the possible victim, and once given a chance, just by eye contact and body language,  they will  all move  in just a matter of seconds.  And get away with the victim  as quick as possible like any other  normal shoppers while passing the loot to another member in case somebody is after them.

1st photo: the syndicate, keeping an eye to the chosen victim, watching for the right time, which is when  the store crew turned her back to  get the order ready.

2nd photo: The man in black shirt, probably the leader of the gang, pointing the woman  where to stand as a look out and at the same time serves as a shield to  the costumers from the next store.

3rd photo: Shows the five members doing the assigned job.  The woman with tray serves as a distraction to both the store crew and the victim  while the designated thief is doing his job.

Thieves are are always on the look out for your hard-earned cash, gadgets and credit cards. It is not wise to bring your valuables in a small bag wherever you go. Hold your bag always, put it on your lap and not behind you. Do not leave it on another chair or on top of the counter while paying. Most important of all is to keep an eye on it at all times. Thieves will do anything to get your attention. So always be alert and aware of the people in the surroundings.

The Best Way to Grow Your Blog

$
0
0

1. Remove the notion that you're going to HAVE to make money from blogging. If that's goal #1, quit blogging right now. Work will give more money
2. Remove the notion that it's going to take a couple of weeks. Many of the bloggers here have been writing for YEARS. My blog has been up for about 6 months now but I've been writing professionally since 15. Experience counts.
3. Content is everything. If you write terrible articles, you COULD have "traffic" but you'll never get good reputation.
4. Write on what you love and on what you're very good at - and everything else follows.

Ads are not the only way to monetize a blog. I am currently employed in one of the best places ever because of blogging. I also give lectures and talks, as well as social media workshops (plug: I've got one in November 2012 and Feb/Mar 2013!). I also consult for blogs, Twitter and Facebook optimization, and Facebook optimization. I am also about to publish my first e-book. See the ads on my blog? Only one of those is paid. I give free ads to brands I love simply because I like them. I give free articles as well because my social media mentors taught me this way = share share share.

Regarding language, who do you want as your crowd? 53% of my readers are from US/Canada and are social media nerds as well, so my content is focused on that. I'm assuming bloggers here like Tess, Ness and Pal are more focused on PH-centric topics and their blogs reflect this (I mention these three because I read their stuff). Your language shouldn't be a concern - your writing skill should.

You see Charlie's advise up there? Those are solid Blogging 101 basics. Your goal now is to produce maybe 50 articles meeting these and do a recap. Last July, I deleted 746 articles from my blog. Why? They don't meet my standards.

Also, don't ever fall for the trappings of being a blogger. We have a bad reputation because out of the millions of blogs in the PH, only a few are genuinely helpful. If you want to blog for personal reasons, fine BUT in MY books, if you'll monetize it, it should BETTER be good for your readers, your country, and of course, the world

Janet Lim-Napoles, owner of JLN Corp is now  all over the news for alleged brains behind the P10-billion pork barrel and Malampaya scam. Five Senators and 23 House of Representatives members are listed as JLN Corp. clientele, according to Philippine Daily Inquirer. Former Marine Col. Ariel Querubin said Janet Napoles,  is a godmother of his  daughter. Janet a minor Armed Forces supplier in the past only  borrows money for capital from his late wife, Loreta Querubin and Janet's husband Jaime, were part of the 1989 coup attempt against the Cory Aquino government. The Napoles' had a simple home in Biñan, Laguna. This made him wonder about the family's posh lifestyle.

The news, became controversial  when an extravagant lifestyle of Jeane Napoles, the  23 year old youngest daughter of Janet was exposed to social media. Facebook and Twitter have lately been overloaded of her pictures flaunting the  family’s wealth. The photos were sent to ABS-CBN News by one of Jeane's friend  after the pork barrel scam hit the headlines. According to news, Jeane owns a Ritz-Carlton unit,  2 Porsche car,  given to her by parents when she graduated from college and the other one on her 18th birthday. The Instagram account shows photos of  her travels abroad, expensive watches, designer bags, clothing, and expensive shoes. Jeane's personal blog claims that she has a clutch bag costing roughly P400,000 and 9 pairs of shoes costing P360,000 each.  Jeane  has deleted her Instagram accounts  but some of the photos and a video clip have made their way to the public eye.

Despite  all the allegations and Jeanes lavish lifestyle, Janet Napoles denies any connection with the pork barrel scam, insisting that all their wealth are the result of hard work from legitimate business ventures. Her daughter's jewelries, and  Porsche sports cars, were all their gifts to her.

“Wala po na nanggaling sa gobyerno, ni piso. Lahat pong yan ay hanapubuhay namin galing sa aming pinaghirapan,” she said. “Kaming mag-asawa ay nagpapakamatay na maghanapbuhay para maibigay po namin sa aming mga anak.:

Jeane Napoles' 21st birthday party at Beverly Hills, Hollywood.

The whistleblower, Benhur Luy, a distant relatives of the Napaoles, had worked at JLN Corp. as a personal assistant. "Luy claimed that JLN was responsible for setting up 20 dummy non-government organizations or NGOs which matched certain politicians' Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) allocations to ghost projects and non-existent beneficiaries."

In 2001, Jaime and Janet Napoles and 16 others were charged with graft and malversation of public funds for alleged participation in fraudulent contracts with the military for the supply of 500 Kevlar helmets worth P3.8 million Initial investigations also showed that the seven winning bidders were mere dummies. Due to lack of of probable cause, and Janet was also cleared the charges in 2010.  Jaime Napoles, retired as a Marine officer. Military sources said he entered the service in the 1980' s and availed of optional retirement on Dec. 31, 2004.

In one of the blogpost regarding the Napoles alleged connection to the Pork Barrel scam, some anonymous commenters, made the post interesting to the readers. It seems that he/she or they  knows much about the alleged  scam and the people behind it or they have hidden agenda against the Napoles. Nobody knows.  I copy pasted some of the anonymous comments for  easy reading and let me know what you think.

Janet Lim Napoles has strong ties before with the late Emilia Boncodin, DBM Secretary. Emilia is the one that keep Janet in the loop whenever a budget or SARO is approved and to which senator or congressman.

Gringo Honasan is a dear friend of Janet’s husband, Jimmy Napoles. I was surprised when I read somewhere online when Honasan was interviewed and he said that he doesnt know the Napoles family.

During the coup in Cory’s time, Jimmy napoles was driving a tank on the way to camp crame when he’s tank was hit by a mortar.Jimmy is operating the .50 caliber machine gun and the soldier driving the tank died during the blast. Jimmy survived and was jailed along with Honasan. If you can get clear photos of Jimmy Napoles online, you will see that part of his face and his arms show burn marks.

Their wealth started to build up during the late 90′s when they engaged themselves with mayors based in zamboanga to use them as a front for a Foundation that will implement projects or deliver farm materials. With connections at COA, they were able to arrange “completed projects” without delivering anything. They established JLN group of companies sometime in 2000 and they moved to their new office from AFPOVAI to Discovery Suites on the 25th floor.

Soon enough, they were able to develop deep connections with more legislators in congress and numerous senators. What JLN Group Of Companies do and their sub-companie, Jo-Chris Trading (named after their eldest child, Jo-Christine “Neneng” Napoles) – they use their foundations as the implementing agency for the funds of congressmen or senators. You see, congressmen and senators have budget, PDAF or the “pork barrel”, but these politicians do not have direct access to their funds and they can never touch it. So what they do is the politicians will create a project (common one is “fertilizer distribution” to farmers) and will ask DBM to set the budget. Then, there will be a public bidding to be held by DAR. The outcome of the bidding is already fixed and it’s Napoles foundation wins. The fund or SARO will be released through Janet’s foundation and the congressmen/senators will ask 70% of the whole amount. So if the project is 10M, Janet will give 70% of that. Usually Janet’s nephew, John Francisco Lim is the courier of the money, they will meet at Podium or at a parking lot. The money are stored in plastic bags or paper bags.

So, whatever is left from the budget, 30% goes to Janet. They usually cash-in the cheque they get from DBM at Landbank in Greenhills and the manager there is part of Janet’s payroll. Janet also need to pay the inspectors from COA and whoever is involved in DAR.

This is their workflow. This is what they do for more than a decade. This is how the senators and congressmen make money. This is why theses politicians have so much and working class filipinos almost have nothing. This is not only Janet’s fault. The greediness of the senators and congressmen are the driving point that keeps this system operating. It is also amazing that if Janet’s family and her company goes into trial, the people who will try them – judges, senators, congressmen, are also part of this. I fear for the life of Benhur and Merlina as whistleblowers. Soon enough they will die. The people of the philippines should protect them. NBI or the witness protection program cannot do anything about it. Because they are keeping the whistleblowers alive for their own use only. Once Janet give payments to the NBI and once Revilla, Honasan, Arroyo, Pichay, Ducut, Pineda, Lim, Estrada, Soto, Lapid, and almost all the congressmen who were in post for the past decade, step in – there’s nothing benhur or merlina can do. They are as good as dead by now.

Please post this on your social media and share it to the world. It is time to stop this madness and remove the pork barrel and protect benhur and merlina.

I saw an interview of janet, jimmy and two of their children, jo-christine and his younger brother. The interview was conducted by Korina Sanchez. I was amazed how Korina played on the set and in a very sublime manner, projected the Napoles family as a victim.

Let me explain.

Korina is married to Mar Roxas. Mar is from Iloilo and he has a cousin, Johnny Roxas. Johnny stands 6’2, fair, brown hair and brown eyes. Johnny is a good looking male and a mestizo. Johnny used to work at JLN Corp. and he used his connections through Mar when he was still “Mr. Palengke.” Johnny earned significant amount of money by closing deals and getting the SARO of some congressmen and mayors and governors with the help of Mar. But Johnny had a fallout with Janet when some some cash commissions were not equally divided to him. He was also hoping to have a Mercedes Benz as a incentive from one of his successful transactions from a congressman based in Samar, bur Janet failed to deliver the car to him. Johnny soon left the company upset. Nevertheless, Johnny left JLN with few million pesos richer, and Mar Roxas a few million above 10M richer. Johnny Roxas became visible again in the political arena when he joined the campaign camp of Fernando Poe Jr. He was always visible on TV appearances and newspaper photos sitting or standing beside or behind Poe. With this said, Mar Roxas has ties with Napoles and that explains the interview with Korina that appears to be biased with the Napoles’. And you now know the reason why.

Present in the interview are Janet “Dragon” Lim Napoles (no one calls her Janet, everybody knows her as “Jenny” or “Tita Jenny” or “Madame Jenny”, and to her extended family, she is called “DRAGON” because of her temper against her household helps and relatives in Zamboanga), Jenny’s husband, Retired Marine Major Jimmy Napoles. Their eldest child, Jo-Christine “Neneng” Napoles and James “Buchoy” Napoles.

Their faces are covered in the interview but you can see their family photo here during Jeane’s birthday party in Beverly Hills CA:

I dont have social media presence nor in the internet. My only platform is through this blog – your blog. I don’t even know you and perhaps you will never know either. As long as i am still alive, I will post on this blog if you dont mind. Thanks for doing sharing your blog to your social media nonetheless.

This news is slowly fading away and only a couple of local media outlets are currently covering it. The Revillames and Estradas are already preparing their speeches should this issue reach the senate. Some speculations in the current congress thinks that this issue is bigger than the corruption of Gloria Arroyo itself so everything is carefully planned out for the next step. There are extreme suggestions within the congressmen involved to create mass hysteria and stimulate “terrorism” activity in the city. They are planning to set off explosives in public places soon and will blame it to the Reds (CPP-NPA) organization.

Do you think that the Ayala Mall explosion before is an “accident”? How about the recent explosion in one of Ayala’s apartments in The Fort? Has anyone of you heard the case again and its updates? None.

It doesnt make sense, does it?

The Napoles lives in Ayala Alabang. Their house is adjacent to Ping Lacson. When Lacson bought the house in Alabang, this was the time when he and Erap were throwing accusations against each other. There was a news clip before of an interview to Lacson and he consistently denies that he does not have a house in an exclusive village. The Napoles’ was laughing hard because the family was the one who recommended that house to Ping.

As you can see, a significant number of residential owners in Ayala Alabang have sits in congress, senate, supreme court, mayors and governors. The Ayala’s are not in the position to deny these individuals who belong in the government from buying properties.

Imagine that at this very moment you are reading this and all the houses with owners that have sits in the govt disappear in thin air – how many house units will be left in Ayala Alabang? Let us say that ayala alabang will be like empty plots of land like in Fairview or Rizal. That is how significant these home owners are to the Ayalas.

How about Forbes? The Napoles have properties in Forbes Park as well. Who developed Forbes Park in the 70s? The Ayalas. And the same home owners in ayala alabang can be found in forbes park. The explosions in the ayala properties were no coincidence. They used it as a platform to divert the attention of the masses so that local media will cover the explosion news instead of corruption expose’ involving key individuals from the congress and senate during those times.

Now they will do it again soon. But this time, it will be exactly similar like the MRT bombings and bus bombings like before – they will bomb the public. Once this happen, all news will be focused on the bombings and slowly the Napoles and all the congressmen and senators, and judges, and secretaries, and undersecretaries will slowly crawl in the dark, away from all of us, together with all their wealth.

Oh, havent i mentioned that Jenny has already moved her money from landbank, metrobank, bpi, banco de oro and consolidated all of their accounts to HSBC hong kong recently? Ooooppss.

People in the internet challenges me if i have proof. No i do not.

But i can tell you that there are two metal safes inside JLN Corp.’s office at 2502 Discovery Suites in ortigas. One safe is inside Jimmy Napoles’ office and the other one is in Janet’s office. Their office also have a small storage room where all previous invoices and receipts that were never use during the past few years are being kept. If you, the reader can magically teleport yourself in that room, you will definitely find all the answers to your questions.

There is also a 5-drawer filing cabinet (metal and beige in color) in front of Janet’s office door where all files of each congressman, senators, mayors, governors, secretaries, undersecretaries, are nicely filed and named. Each folder contains copies of cheques, cash vouchers, petty cash vouchers, receipts of cash advances and bank account details for each transaction.

If by any chance that this blog has reached the Napoles family, they will move these safes and drawers outside their office ASAP. They will use the utility elevators located in the back of the building to transport the cabinets and all its contents. Once they reach the carpark, they will go to carpark slot number 1 to load these things. Janet owns carpark numbers 1, 2 and 3 at Discovery Suites. It is a good thing to also ask Jun Pareno, one of the big bosses of Discovery Suites, how he helps the Napoles family all throughout these years conducting VVIP services to some congressmen and senators as part of Janet’s perks to them using the hotel services.

Going back, those drawers will be moved in binan laguna in one of their houses there and everything will be burned. This has not happened yet. And if you, the readers, do nothing, once those drawers are out of the streets, there goes your evidence. Don’t let the local san juan police raid their office because that is part of their plan – to have the police storm their office and make it appear that everything is being seized. Of course, what safer way it is than to transport the cabinets escorted by law enforcement officers only to be burned after.

Clever. Very clever Janet indeed. Was it that Jinggoy’s idea or Gringo?

I would like to contribute to this blog.

The Napoles speak fluent Chabakano.

They are rich because they do business in both sides – opposition and coalition. They started poor in the 70s – 80s selling packed lunch (similar to jolly-jeep) at the premises of AFP since Jimmy is a Marine. Officer.

I don’t have a single clue where the f*ck they get the idea that they are into the coal mining business.

Janet and the female owner of AM-Europharma are BFFs. That explains their mansions in Laguna because AM-Europharma’s factory is in Laguna.

Eddie Badeo is effing naive. Everything she said is spot on and correct. But, all martyrs die in the end.

There are three siblings in the Lim family, Ronald Francisco Lim, Janet Francisco Lim, Reynald “Jojo” Luy Lim. “Jojo” is a half brother and Benhur Luy is related to Reynald. That’s why they could not kill Benhur when they still have a chance. But now they all wish him dead.

Jo-Christine Napoles is a graduate from St. Benilde. Her brother, James Napoles is also from Benilde.

Benhur is as guilty as Janet – they both became rich helping politicians steal from us.

Merlina Sunas is still poor and helpless. Janet used her all throughout these years. Save Merlina and let Benhur die.

Patayin na natin lahat ng mga kongressman at senador! at bantayan na ang mga airport dahil tumatakas na sila isa isa!

Everyone wants to know the identities of the congressmen and senators and cabinet members and judges that have business relations with JLN Corp.

Simple.

There are numerous security cameras installed in Janet’s office and the recording machine is located in her room. You will see all the people that comes in and out of their office – including ALL the politicians in HD viewing.

If by any chance they have deleted it, the people of the philippines can ask Discovery Suites CCTV footage of their hotel entrance at the back of their building. Or the CCTV at the Serendipity Lounge. It is also interesting to check the CCTV footage of Landbank Ortigas and see how many times the employees of JLN come in and out in a day for the last five years. Or probably all CCTV at the banks in Greenhills (along ortigas avenue) because most probably, JLN Corp have accounts on them.

We might as well try CCTV footage at Starbucks and Dome Cafe at Podium. I am sure as hell that they will find videos there for the past 3 or more years.

But people, we better act fast because once they read this blog, those videos are good as gone.

Why is jejomar “boy putik” binay secretely meeting jimmy napoles in a secure location in tagaytay owned by erap?

A. Because binay is a high ranking officer of the infamous Alpha Phi Omega fraternity

B. Because jimmy napoles is a high ranking senior member of Alpha Phi Omega fraternity

C. Because binay benefited hundred of millions of pesos from the napoles foundation before he became a vice president

D. Because jimmy contributed millions of pesos in binay’s campaign

E. Because jimmy is an officer at the RAM (Reformed Armed-Forces Movement) and they are discussing options about holding another coup and installing binay as the next president once noynoy is out

F. Because binay is pissed at jimmy for being stupid

G. Because jimmy needs back channel access to get out of the country with all his family this weekend now that all their money has already been wired out offshore.

H. ALL OF THE ABOVE

Please answer honestly and no cheating. Go!

Dear Netizens…

We are very surprised to see this overwhelming response online. We seek no attention and we don’t welcome fame. That said, we will continue to be anonymous.

To the blog owner, the community wants to protect you. How can we protect your blog? Are you well informed on how to use each security feature on wordpress? If not, you can ask the community here on how you can further enhance the security of your blog and its consistencies. And to the community, let’s guard this blog.

This could be our last entry here. And we will make it quick.

JLN Corporation is only a small part of the structured embezzlement system established in this government. do you think that if all of us demand to “open janet’s bank accounts” will happen? No. Why? She’s is protected by law not to do it. Just like you and me. You have the right to refuse not to show your bank accounts to me, or to your friends, cousins, etc. Janet will exercise that right, same as we can also exercise our rights. Remember jose pidal? Was the envelope opened? No. How about corona? Were all the key bank accounts revealed? No. The Marcoses, their offshore accounts, yes they are “freezed”, but have you seen the details? No. And where are they now? They are still in power. And they will be forever in power. How about chavit singson? Do you know that he owns the land where metrowalk ortigas is located? How were they able to own that? Of course through jueteng and corruption. But that’s another story.

The point is – the philippine law is in Janet’s side. Like others that were in the same situation as her now – marcos, estrada, lacson, glorya, corona and countless politicians (well almost all of them) – this too shall pass. And she will be acquitted. I can see the web traffic on this blog and there’s a significant number of lawyers reading this comment at this very moment. And they know that I am right. Surprisingly, Janet is reading this blog right now, and you can just imagine her big smile painted on her face.

Why? Because the people you elected created a law that will protect them from us. And there is nothing that we can do. There is nothing that you can do. People power? Yes we can all march on Edsa and after that what? We will all be back where this issue left off – country will still be in poverty.

Let’s go back to the current issue. Janet’s company, JLN Corporation together with her family, serves only a fraction of what caused the poverty in this nation. She’s only a part of a hand that feeds the mouth and the whole body. Now, ponder this, IF the Napoles is put into prison at this very instant, and we recovered their wealth and put it back from the people’s coffer – now what? The same congressmen, senators, cabinet members, police chiefs, army chiefs, NBI chiefs, judges will start to steal again. Have we solved the root cause the nation’s problem? No.

You and I are angry at Janet. Yes, that is true. But consider this, Janet is only a facilitator. The beneficiaries of everything she stole goes back to the senators, congressmen, mayors, etc. And JLN Corporation is only ONE company that we are aware of. There are MANY companies and foundations out there that, members of the congress and senators operate. You think that enrile has no foundation similar to janet? Hell no, he got dozens. And also estrada, etc.

I want to state some facts here. Janet is still “poor” compare to the arroyos and macapagals. In fact, janet’s wealth doesn’t even come close to pandak. Pandak’s family has been plundering the nation since Diosdado’s time. How? That’s why Dado got rid off the americans because Dado wants absolute control of the country’s wealth. Similar to glorya, from VP to President to congress. They will fuck everyone just to stay with power. Why? Annual country budget in our country averages Php21Trillion. Imagine even if you can have 1% of that amount every year, will you not kill anyone that will stand in your way and fuck everyone else?

Now let’s go back. JLN corp and jo-chris trading accumulated wealth during the time of arroyo. And we all know for a fact that marcos’ wealth is puny compare to the collective wealth of the arroyos and macapagals. And during the time of arroyo, everyone steals from everybody and they made a killing. Do you think that with a company like Janet’s will not attract arroyo’s attention during her term?

Arroyo knows janet and glorya just let her run her business. Why? Arroyo was busy in bigger projects and Janet’s company breathes life to this ecosystem and keeps its liquidity. Janet’s company and other companies similar to hers keep things balance in this systematic scheme and organized plunder.

So people, if we want to be angry, let’s not be angry to one person only. Let’s be angry to the people who held post during glorya’s term and to previous and current members of congress and some senators (wait, is tito sotto still a senator? No wonder) and mayors, and governors, and cabinet members and their undersecretaries.

To all the people who demand for trial and investigation, please stop, please. Nothing will come out of that investigation and please don’t fool yourselves that if you make a campaign to stop and abolish pork barrel and pork barrel will be gone – no, it will not happen. Never.

The philippines have already suffered enough. All our previous people power were all peaceful and look at ourselves now. We are still here and I am writing this piece.

The solution is a violent revolt against all members of congress and senate. Let their bodies hang on bridges and burn their houses. Once the purge is over, the government should hire a foreign consulting company that will handle the nation’s budget and rebuild this nation from ground up. It is a fact that we filipinos cannot govern our own selves, let’s face it. Once we see power and wealth within our grasps, we don’t fucking care anymore. This is the only way to restore our nation and to bring back countless OFWs abroad and start a new life for the current generation.

There is no other solution.

Before we abandon this blog, we will give you the telephone number of Janet. All of them have accounts in Globe. So if you have friends working in the call centre of globe, you can hook up with them and uncover all their numbers. Once Janet’s number is out, it will only be a matter of hours before she switches to another number, so text her with something substantial that will drive her do the right thing. The family is still in the country but they will be leaving next week. Numerous congressmen and senators are already sending their children abroad so better hurry if we will start a bloody revolt. Burning the houses in ayala alabang and forbes park is a good place to start the purge.

Here is her number:

+63917 525 XXXX (edited)

Remember, this is not all Janet’s fault, her part in this grand scheme is very, very, very, little to be honest. The whole nation is in poverty because of the people you voted and they created laws that will make it legitimate to steal from you and me and from all of us. Kill all the congressmen. Kill all the senators. Don’t forget to kill the Macapagals and the Arroyos down to their last kin. Guard the airports and seaports, don’t let them out. And we will have our freedom and you will all get your taxes back. you can also kill kris aquino if you like.

Or maybe we can just sit back and relax and go back to work on Monday and forget that this blog ever existed. Just dont be mad when you see your payslip with the word TAX on it, and GSIS/SSS, and salary loans, and PAGIBIG and all those other shit that only your payroll team knows.

Tita Jenny, we are very sorry for this and to Jeane – we hate to admit but all the parties you had were all amazing and you really know how to bring the house down *wink wink high fives and down lows wink wink*. But we have to do this. Who knows tita jen, you may become a hero in this story because you became the catalyst to finally make a positive change in this country. But we think everyone is looking for you now. And there is no fucking way out.

And to the napoles children, all of you should have known that your parents were helping politicians steal money, you should have told them before to stop immediately. And to janet and jimmy, you should be ashamed of yourselves bringing your own demise to your family. and to ALL the politicians, PNP chiefs, Army chiefs, judges and cabinet members, just pray that the napoleses wont post your home addresses and phone numbers here on this blog – else you’ll be all fucked. (We want to see Glorya and Enrile fucked up so hard by the way – if a bloody revolt happens. How long enrile has been in power? since 1986? fuck hell, how much is his worth now?!?!)

xxxxxxx——-xxxxxxxx——xxxxxxx

(Haven’t you noticed that globe is owned by the ayalas, ayala alabang is of course alayas and every politician has a house in that village, and everything else is ayala – aside from the lopezes, cojuangcos, gokongweis, villars, madrigals, monteverdes, sys, tans, uys, villars, etc etc etc. I thought that we were free from the spaniards more than a century ago? Seems not.)

This is only a partial list of the members of house of representatives that earned through JLN Corporation. Senators not yet included.

Each name here with its respective equivalent amount is only a summation of 2-4 months worth of transaction. We have not completed adding all receipts, documents, etc for the 2004-2011 period.

We are still not sure if we want to do this because we are tired already and pissed. you can now imagine the value of each representatives. Ask yourselves, how many months are there in total from 2004-2011?

I was once offered to create development projects using the PDAF of some senators, especially the reelectionists during the 2013 elections. That was between 2011-2012. The deal was: 60/40. That is 60% goes back to the senator to be used as campaign funds, and 40% goes to the ‘project’ and others. The ‘others’ here meant people who are involved in the transaction, which all in all they will get 20%. The project proponent gets 20% of the amount. The lowest amount offered was Php2 million. I initially entertained the offer. I submitted 3 project proposals with the total amount for funding of Php6 million. I foolishly involved three cooperatives with the intention that the 20% we’d receive would be used for the ‘real project.’

But there’s something that struck my senses when I brought the coop leaders to the Senate in June last year (2012) for a meeting with a senator and a couple of senate staff who would process the papers — that I could only be used by politicians as a pawn in their game. I was even introduced to Sandra Cam, the whistle blower that Lacson and Erap used against Gloria Arroyo. After the meeting I went straight back home and thought carefully about the consequences of my action. I decided not to pursue nor to follow it up. My conscience could not simply take it.

Even if the people would pressure Congress to remove the PDAF, legislators would not heed because it is necessary for them because their constituents would demand from them concrete, visible projects. But COA should demand full accountability; PDAF disbursements should be audited. After all its the public’s money and not to be used for discretionary by indiscreet politicians.

Everyone is asking why are bombs exploding in the south and not in metro manila? The family of Napoles originated from the south, they can speak Tsabakano and they were born in Lamitan, Basilan. Fundamentally, their stronghold is in the south and they have ties with the Ampatuans. Jaimes Napoles is also a retired Marine Major and he still have access in the armory in zamboanga. It does only make sense for Napoles and his PDAF sources and bosses to bomb the south instead, particularly CDO. Just my 2 cents.

Those facts of blowing up buildings, bombing public transport and killing innocent civilians in the process is outrageous. Yes, it is beyond me how they do that. At what cost? Let’s do the math here and lets figure out why the philippines is still poor and why the congressmen, the senators will go as far as killing us all.

Currently, the philippine senate and congress is already drafting the budget for 2014 and it’s roughly Php2.3trillion. Yes, that is our country budget and that is made up of all the taxes that everyone paid. That is almost US$57.5B. That is a lot of zeros. Every year, the pork barrel allocates Php200M for EACH senator and Php70M for EACH member of the congress. There are:

24 Senators with 6-year terms maximum of 12-years

288 Members of Congress with 3-year terms maximum of 9-years

1 Senator x Php200M x 6yrs = Php1.2Billion per Senator for his full 6-year term.

1 Congressman x Php 70M x 3yrs = Php210M per Senator for his full 3-year term

Because all senators and congressmen are very patriotic and want to serve our country to their maxed out terms, let us do the math again:

Php1.2B x 2 = Php2.4B in 12-years pork barrel per senator

Php210M x 3 = Php630M in 9-years pork barrel per congressman

These are the amount of each senators and congressmen allocated to them in their respective tenures. Imagine the market value of this sector – the way Janet imagines it.

Because of companies like Janet, all the people that you vote use similar corporations like of Janet to steal money from the people’s coffer – from you, from us. Just imagine the huge amount once they’ve get a hold of their budget. Now think deeply why our country is still a mess. Can you now see the whole picture why our country is still poor? Why you, the reader of this blog, works so hard yet you save nothing?

This has been happening since the times of Marcos. The only difference is, during Ferdinand’s time, he’s the only thief and his cronies so the effect is the country doesn’t notice that they are “poor”. When Apo was ousted, EVERYONE sitting in power is a thief. Now the country can definitely feel poverty.

The figures listed above remain as the key motivator to Janet Napoles. That is why she is reach. That is why ALL members of the congress are filthy reach, That is why ALL senators are filthier. The sad fact is, there are numerous companies similar to Napoles that operates as we speak. Then why is Janet so popular? Because her company is generous to the greedy congressmen and senators, her company is the only one that can afford to give as high as 85% cash-on-hand off from their allocated budgets. Other companies similar to Jo-Chris Trading and JLN Corporation can only go as high as 65%.

Close your eyes now and imagine a senator gets 85% of Php2.4B. Now think about why ramon revilla – bong revilla, the arroyos, enrile, lacson, estradas and all of them are still in power, one generation to the other.

Open your eyes and reach to your pocket – how much do you have

Everyone is asking why are bombs exploding in the south and not in metro manila? The family of Napoles originated from the south, they can speak Tsabakano and they were born in Lamitan, Basilan. Fundamentally, their stronghold is in the south and they have ties with the Ampatuans. Jaimes Napoles is also a retired Marine Major and he still have access in the armory in zamboanga.

August 26, 2013 is the National Heroes day in the Philippines. This public holiday happens every last Monday of August to commemorate all the National Heroes of the country throughout history. The National Heroes day was initially celebrated  on November 30 to celebrate the birthday of Andres Bonifacio, founder of the Katipunan  and later moved to the fourth Monday of August, to pay tribute to all the known or unknown men and women who fought for Philippines freedom and democracy.

In celebration for this years National Heroes day, a call to  march on Luneta park is also being organized by Filipino people as a protest to the existing  misuse of the congressional pork barrel funds. Everybody is  invited at the park for a simple picnic or a gathering  to celebrate the holiday and to  take advantage of the moment  to be heard as a group of concern citizens to scrap  Pork Barrel which has ended up in the pockets of unscrupulous politicians.

Let us do the million people march to Luneta park on August 26, National Heroes Day. WE, the taxpayer want:

1. The pork barrel scarpped.
2. The senators and congressmen in the pork barrel fund scam investigated and charged  accordingly, with full media coverage for the people to see.

HOW: With a massive "pocket picnic" get together
WHEN: 26 August 2013, 9 am
WHERE: In front of the Luneta Grandstand
COLOR: White
STATUS/MEME/TWEET: I am *NAME* PINOY ako. I pay my taxes, on-time & in-full. YOU, my government, owe me a full explanation. @ProtestaNgBayan
HASHTAG: #OnePinoy #MillionPeopleMarch #ProtestaNgBayan

No group banners. No political colors. No Speeches. Just ALL OF US ordinary, tax-paying people .
We need this outrage, anger to reach critical mass.

'Yan ang Power ng Pinoy!

"PASINTABI na po , pasasalamat, at pahiram sa kung sinoman po ang nagdisenyo ng KAMAO na unang ginamit sa "Pass the RH Bill" Campaign. Angkop-angkop po lamang para sa protesta kaya naglakas-loob na po kaming gamitin. SALAMAT PO NG MARAMI."

Corruption in the Philippines Causes Flood and Poverty

With the calamity going on in the Philippines, there is no doubt that floods are the results of constantly voting these corrupt politicians who lives comfortably in their air conditioned mansions out of stealing money from the taxpayers. Do they have conscience? No, they don't! The effect can be seen every time there is rain and typhoon, flooding is expected in Metro Manila and nearby places. It's just frustrating that the Filipino people are the only ones to be blamed for putting them in the position.

People keep throwing trash anywhere. Clogged  canals and waterways, where large squatter communities lives. Vote-buying in Philippine slums are the reason why unscrupulous politicians leads the country. Filipinos left the country to work abroad because there are no opportunities for them, monthly salary is not enough to give family a decent life. Squatters are occupying the whole country and so are the corrupt politicians. More squatter means more votes for them.

As a result of politicians constant stealing, flooding has become a part of Filipino life.  Government do not care about auditing and monitoring  where the tax money goes to. If they will only wake up, then we will have better roads and flood ways. Recently, one of the  most powerful typhoon hits the Philippines that caused death and destruction.

Scrap Pork Barrel Meme's

It all started with Janet Napoles, known as the Pork barrel Queen who allegedly stole P10 billion from the taxpayers and her highness Princess Jeane Napoles, became an internet celebrity, as she flaunted  the lavish lifestyle online all her two Porsche's, apartment in the Ritz-Carlton, expensive items, shopping abroad and partying at Hollywood with known personalities. Jeane is the reason  the taxpayers are now aware of  her mother's involvement  in the scam together with six senators and 28 congressmen even though the politicians denied their involvement with Janet.

Now that the  pork barrel scam is out in the public, Janet, was declared a high profile fugitive after she escaped arrest on  illegal detention charged by the whistleblower in the pork barrel scam. Janet is hiding and nowhere to be  found. Some think that, the politicians helped her  escape out of the country, she already had a plastic surgery, or she may even be dead as of this time. Well, nobody knows. All the Filipinos cares about right now  is to punish all the politicians involved in the scam, as well as to scrap the pork barrel. Graft and corruption must end, but with all the kind of politicians we have that might not happen.

Filipino's showed their disgust through a peaceful rally at the Luneta Park on 26th of August, from 9 am onwards. The march to scrap the pork barrel are the citizen's answer to the unscrupulous politicians.  This is the right time and place to  burst the dismay to the government.  Some meme's posted in Facebook  are really interesting and I can't help post it here.

This is it, the much awaited march to Luneta event. Millions of concerned Filipino citizens gathers in all over the country to show their protest against Pork barrel and corruption. People had spoken, stop stealing the taxpayers money.

DiMayuga Jimmie. After this march...ask the LEGISLATORS to allow civilian representatives to be part of the congress and senate during their sessions...televise if need be. Watch them like hawks! HAVE A GREAT NATIONAL HEROES DAY TO ALL FILIPINOS AROUND THE GLOBE!
Hector Teodosio. The hundreds of millions in pork barrel could have been spent to support the program of the BFAR , to construct thousands of artificial reefs and creation of marine sanctuaries all over the Visayan Sea. Abolish the pork barrel and let's throw out of job these lawmakers who are actually empty heads .
DiMayuga Jimmie After this march...ask the LEGISLATORS to allow civilian representatives to be part of the congress and senate during their sessions...televise if need be. Watch them like hawks! HAVE A GREAT NATIONAL HEROES DAY TO ALL FILIPINOS AROUND THE GLOBE!

Ralph La Oriel. Most of the time, things are not really what it seem. Therefore, we must beware that there are lots of things, talks and happenings around us that are very deceiving. These should remind us of the warning given to us by our beloved Lord Jesus Christ that many false prophets and great pretenders will come to deceive us.

Let us take for example the corrupt politicians and individuals who are very good in the art of lying and will do everything to deceive their victims.

Unfortunately, there are not much penalties and negative consequences of lying and deceiving other people. Many of their crimes remain unsolved and unpunished. It looks like lying is doing more good than harm to the corrupt politicians and individuals. Lying seems to be a tool of the trade to get the support of the masang Filipinos, to get elected and to scam money from Juan de la Cruz. It is so sad, it looks like lying is a profitable business in the Philippines not only to politicians but to anybody who can corrupt the minds of the Filipinos.

Well. that's not surprising at all. Successful snake oil salesmen are very good in the art of lying. Some people can even sale a bridge or even Jesus to unsuspecting person. Kaya tayong mga Filipinos ay dapat na mag-ingat at huwag paloloko sa mga manloloko.

We must help in exposing corrupt government officials and private individuals and other criminals in the midst of our society.

Manny Sarmiento. "By being in Luneta and other places in the Philippines on August 26, we are sending a message, but a message only as strong as the number of people participating."

Ella Jorraine Serrano. Putting into action is the best Everyone knows what Philippine Government system is but still they continue the corruption as a traditional system. Knowing is different to putting into action if you are already tempted with the money, power and everything..you will already fall into temptation. This million march will be meaningless if not each one of us doesn't know how to practice righteous acts but still continue the selfish acts. Righteous Acts is the best! Knowing what is good and avoid evil deeds.

Eliseo Rio Jr. I do not know with the others, but I will go to Luneta on August 26 without any expectations but just to be present and vent my disgust. I will maybe talk to the stranger to my left, to my right, the one in front and behind me and ask them if they feel the same disgust that I feel. If we share the same feelings, our small group will try to touch base with the small groups around us, talking on how we can make our disgust into something constructive for the sake of our country. I will listen to speeches if there are any, be entertained by show biz personalities if any, but always observing, exchanging ideas, to those I can physically reach. I don’t need an organization to do this for me. I don’t need a permit to do this. My physical safety I will entrust to the authorities in the area.

When I get home, I will put in the social media my experiences, what ideas I have gathered, how wide-spread the feeling to change for the better is, how deep the disgust on corruption is. I will be sure that this will reach a greater number of people that I came in contact in Luneta. . I am sure that a number of patriotic IT nerds will find ways to merge my comments with the hundreds of thousand comments of others for all to see. Suddenly, the so called silent majority becomes a virtual reality. Suddenly, dedicated, self-sacrificing leaders/facilitators will emerge in this virtual world. Suddenly, this virtual majority can, at a call, enter the real world to strike at those who will do them harm, who will jeopardize the future of their children, who prioritize their personal needs to the needs of the country. And I will wake up the next morning knowing that this is not just a dream, that we have finally become the REAL BOSS.

BUT I will not just stay at home because of a preconceived notion that nothing will come out of this. THIS IS precisely the apathy a whole generation, my generation, felt and therefore did nothing, resulting in a waste-basket Philippines. This is precisely why I said that this disease has now infected this generation of my children, for even when they are being made fools of by people they elected, some would rather not do anything about it, but just ask questions and complain. NO I will not stay at home. This time I will act!!!

By being in Luneta and other places in the Philippines on August 26, we are sending a message, but a message only as strong as the number of people participating.

Mila D. Aguilar. P1 Trillion+. Pork, both Congress' and the President's. What a wonderful sum for PLANNED year-on-year economic development! The genuine abolition of pork barrel should lead to it.

My proposal on its proper use takes on three main lines:

1. Place the amount in the regular national budget, but earmarked as Strategic Economic Development Funds.

2. Institute CHECK & BALANCE on the funds, letting the executive branch propose the strategic plan year-on-year, but giving the legislative AS A WHOLE, in open sessions, the power to review, propose changes, and approve the plan as it currently does with the national budget.

This means no individual legislator can appropriate any amount for himself (or ostensibly, for his constituents) anymore, but can still suggest, subject to open debate, a better ECONOMIC plan for his area.

3. Strategic economic development should mean that the funds will be used for the following purposes alone:

3.1. The building and maintenance of INFRASTRUCTURE necessary to ensure the equalization of economic opportunities all over the land, to wit:

3.1.1. Roads and bridges up to feeder roads
3.1.2. Strategically placed flood control systems
3.1.3. Strategically planned sources of electricity designed to bring down its cost (combined hydro, solar, wind, depending on area)
3.1.4. An Internet superhighway with its own feeder roads for the farthest reach
3.1.4. A strategic plan to ensure clean water systems everywhere

3.2. The systematic upgrading of our educational SUPERSTRUCTURE to ensure a progressively developing population who all contribute to economic development:

3.2.1. Establishment of K-12 Entrepreneurial Community Schools in urban and rural poor areas, where all subjects are geared towards the launch of practical entrepreneurial projects together with parents and the community affected.

3.2.2. Upgrading of state colleges and universities so that they respond in a planned and systematic way to national needs, without overproducing graduates in any profession, and with the view of producing professionals who can contribute concretely to national economic development, such as engineers especially in the computer sciences.

3.2.3. Institution of large-scale R&D programs that will lead to the development of our basic industries and the manufacturing sector.

3.2.4. Upgrading, financing, computerization, modernization of the judicial system so that the Filipino will start to feel that there is justice in his/her country after all.

PNoy decreed what pork barrel should not be spent on. Let the people decree WHAT it should become -- a strategic part of the national budget with its checks and balances -- and HOW it should be spent: for planned economic development alone.

NOTHING should be left unprogrammed, NOTHING left to the discretion of any one individual or branch of government. Even calamity funds can be planned.

Exciting times for deep-going change! Once we make it -- through prayer, passion and action -- we shall have established one piece of God's Kingdom here on earth.

Proverbs 12:19a, 20b -
"Truthful lips endure forever,
...those who plan peace have joy."

Alfredo Liongoren. The Philippine Constitution emphasizes the importance of accountability in the government. Article XI simply and bluntly begins: “Public office is a public trust,” before it adds that officials and employees should serve the people with “responsibility, integrity, loyalty and efficiency.”

Part 4: Million People March at Luneta

The minute this movement was started, I committed to march to Luneta on the 26th. I am apalled, not only with legislators who misused their PDAF, but also with our President who has done absolutely nothing to curb the abuses of the Pork Barrel system. President Benigno Simeon Aquino III is equally as liable. All the reports coming out center on the period of 2007 to 2009 -- during the time of GMA when then Senator Noynoy Aquino and his LP allies were no longer in the good graces of GMA. There seems to be a deliberate attempt to hide the figures of legislators who, prior to 2007, were still allied with GMA (like then Sen. Noynoy Aquino and other LP stalwarts). There is also a suspicion that the Commission on Audit did not release the figures for 2011 to 2013 -- the period when President Aquino was already in power. It is a good thing that media is already showing that the Pork Barrel Funds of Pres. Aquino is 3 times more than GMA's.

Knowing fully well that the Pork Barrel system is subject to abuse, why does the President refuse to stop the Pork Barrel system? Why do some sectors keep on zeroing on legislators who are in the opposition when, in fact, the the administration is equally liable? Leonor Briones, the Philippines' National Treasurer during the time of Cory Aquino, already said that the President himself has control of almost 1-Trillion Pesos in Pork Barrel Funds. Still, some sectors allied with the President still zero in on opposition legislators. It has been shown that the Department of Budget and Management under Sec. Butch Abad has realeased one of the biggest amounts of congressional PDAF funds to his wife, Congresswoman Dina Abad -- mother of the head of Malacañang's Presidential Management Staff, Julia Abad! Still some sectors allied with the President zero in on the pork barrel funds of opposition legislators who have received much less.

The President campaigned on a platform based mainly on stopping corruption in government. He was sold to the people as a crusader against corruption. Some people hold the President blameless for the Pork Scandal. I respect the opinion of these people even if such is contrary to mine. But I ask them a simple question: Why is he so beholden to the Pork Barrel system which, all of us agree is one of the root causes of corruption?!!! More than half of his Presidential term is over and yet the President has not been able to stop corruption. Miriam Santiago was correct when she stated that the Pork Barrel system must be abolished and not even 1 day later, the President comes out with a statement saying that he is not in favor of abolishing it. If he were truly intent on fighting corruption, he would have stopped it at its very root cause. I, together with a lot of people, already consider the President and his allies as part of the problem. I do not advocate his overthrow but I will be marching on August 26 against the abusers of the Pork Barrel system which INCLUDES PRESIDENT BENIGNO S. AQUINO III. Peace to all the marchers!
